M.A. Ford Mfg. Co., Inc. introduces a new high performance drilling product. The newest addition to the Twister XD® family of drills is the 2XDCE Coolant Fed Extra Long High Performance Drill. Developed to drill water lines in molds, the new 2XDCE drill works exceptionally well in all deep hole drilling applications.
DRILL WITH NICKEL-PLATED BODY PROVIDES LONGER TOOL LIFE
Sumitomo Electric Carbide, Inc. expanded the SMD replaceable carbide tip product line by adding an 8XD drill to their 3XD and 5XD lineup. The SMD nickel-plated body provides longer tool life than conventional replaceable tip drill bodies. A rigid serration coupling system affixes the replaceable carbide tips to the drill face, improving drill accuracy and repeatability.
